Medicare People Limited is seeking a compassionate Live-in Care Healthcare Assistant (HCA) in Ford to support clients to stay independent at home. You'll provide person-centred care, daily living assistance, companionship, and meal prep, with ongoing guidance from a dedicated management team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months UK care experience.
• Kind, caring and compassionate personality.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Confidence working within clients' homes.
• Ability to build positive relationships with clients and families.
• Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Flexibility to travel and work in different locations.
• Commitment to providing safe, high-quality care.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Medication administration experience is desirable.
• Live-in care experience is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support clients to remain independent in their own homes.
• Provide person-centred care tailored to individual needs.
• Assist with washing, dressing and personal care.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Help with mobility and daily routines.
• Prepare meals and encourage hydration.
• Administer medication safely and accurately.
• Support with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
• Complete shopping and other essential errands.
• Monitor wellbeing and report any concerns; keep accurate care records.
• Work closely with families and healthcare professionals.
