Qualifications
- Previous professional care experience is preferred.
- Caring, patient and compassionate nature.
- Confident working independently in a client's home.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Ability to adapt to different care needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care in clients' homes.
- Support personal hygiene and grooming needs.
- Build positive relationships with clients.
- Assist with mobility and safe moving and handling.
- Prepare meals and support healthy eating.
- Encourage independence and confidence.
- Administer medication safely (where qualified).
- Help maintain a tidy and safe home environment.
- Support with shopping and everyday errands.
- Monitor wellbeing and raise concerns when needed.
- Keep accurate daily records.
- Work closely with the wider care team.
