Job summary

Medicare People Limited is seeking a dedicated Live-in Carer in Handcross to deliver compassionate in-home care. You will support clients to live independently, providing personal care, meals, companionship, and daily living assistance in clients’ homes.

We offer flexible placements across Handcross, with competitive weekly pay, free accommodation, food allowance, full training, and ongoing support from our care management team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of professional UK care experience
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care is desirable but not essential
• Experience administering medication is desirable
• Right to work in the UK
• Flexibility to travel for placements

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality person-centred care
• Support clients to live independently in their own homes
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and personal hygiene
• Offer companionship and emotional reassurance
• Help with mobility and everyday activities
• Prepare meals and support healthy hydration
• Administer medication safely and accurately
• Help maintain a clean, comfortable home environment
• Complete shopping and other essential errands
• Monitor changes in wellbeing and report concerns
• Maintain clear and accurate care notes
• Work collaboratively with families and the wider care team
