Job summary

Medicare People is hiring a Live-in Care Healthcare Assistant (HCA) in Ferring to provide person-centred support in clients' homes. You will assist with daily living activities, personal care, mobility, meals and companionship while staying in clients' homes on a flexible placement schedule.

We offer competitive weekly pay from £830, regular live-in care placements across Ferring, food allowance, free accommodation during assignment, a pension, free uniform and ID badge, a paid Blue Light Card,

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' professional care experience in the UK.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Experience supporting daily living activities and personal care.
• Right to work in the UK; medication experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support in clients' homes.
• Build positive relationships with clients and families.
• Assist with personal care and daily living tasks.
• Support mobility and moving and handling requirements.
• Prepare meals, snacks and drinks.
• Ensure medication is administered correctly.
• Help with household chores and laundry.
• Support clients with errands and appointments.
• Monitor physical and emotional wellbeing.
• Work closely with healthcare professionals and the care team.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Help clients remain comfortable, independent and safe at home.
