Job summary

Radis Community Care in the United Kingdom is seeking a live-in Complex Care Worker to support a gentleman at home. You will provide day-to-day living assistance, personal care and medication support, and help with appointments and community activities.

The role requires at least 6 months care experience, live-in care experience, CPAP ventilation exposure, a driving licence, and a caring, trustworthy approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months care experience with live-in care preferred.
• Experience with CPAP ventilation care is required or highly desirable.
• Valid driving licence and ability to drive for appointments.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day living support including personal care and medication assistance.
• Assist with household tasks and attending appointments and community activities.
• Follow and adapt Person Centred Plans; communicate with family as needed.

Job description

The Complex Care worker will be living with the service user from 4 weeks up to long term. The hours are roughly 10 hours to 12 hours care per day with 2 hours break daily for the staff member to have their own time. Also weekly regular breaks are provided.

We are looking for someone with previous care experience at least 6 months and live in care experience. Also previous complex care experience in CPAP ventilation machine.

Comprehensive training will be provided. This role is supported by our Community Lead nurses, who offer training and support throughout.

The ideal candidate will be a caring and trustworthy person, who is able to support people in their own home with day to day living including personal care, support with medication and household tasks. They will be able to support with appointments and support in the community.

The candidate will need to be a driver, to help this gentleman attend appointments and to help with soiclaisation.

The ideal candidate will be able to follow and support with Person centred plans and amend when needed. They will also be able to support family members if needed and be able to communicate effectively with Family members.
