Job summary

Radis is seeking an Experienced Live-in Complex Care worker to support a gentleman in his own home in Nottingham. The role requires living with the client from 4 weeks up to long term, around 10–12 hours of care daily with a 2-hour personal break.

You will provide day-to-day living support, including personal care, medication assistance, and household tasks, and accompany the gentleman to appointments and community activities.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of care experience and live-in care experience.
• Experience with CPAP ventilation.
• Comprehensive training will be provided and support from Community Lead nurses.
• Driver required to attend appointments and assist socialisation.
• Ability to follow person-centred plans and communicate with family.

Job description

We are looking for an Experienced Live in Complex Care worker to provide care for a gentleman in his own home in Nottingham.

About the role

The Complex Care worker will be living with the service user from 4 weeks up to long term. The hours are roughly 10 hours to 12 hours care per day with 2 hours break daily for the staff member to have their own time. Also weekly regular breaks are provided.

More and more people are wanting to remain in their own homes, with their loved ones and precious memories and surroundings. At Radis we try to make this a reality for as many individuals as possible with the support of passionate Care Workers making a difference to the lives of those they care for.

Requirements;

We are looking for someone with previous care experience at least 6 months and live in care experience. Also previous complex care experience in CPAP ventilation machine.

Comprehensive training will be provided. This role is supported by our Community Lead nurses, who offer training and support throughout.

The ideal candidate will be a caring and trustworthy person, who is able to support people in their own home with day to day living including personal care, support with medication and household tasks. They will be able to support with appointments and support in the community.

The candidate will need to be a driver, to help this gentleman attend appointments and to help with soiclaisation.

The ideal candidate will be able to follow and support with Person centred plans and amend when needed. They will also be able to support family members if needed and be able to communicate effectively with Family members.

4 weekly before Tax is between £3,572 and £4,540 depending on the needs of the client.
