Job summary

Bluebird Care – Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea is seeking a compassionate Live-In Care Assistant to support customers in their homes. You will live with a client, assist with daily tasks, and help maintain dignity, independence and companionship.

The role offers a weekly pay range of £827.12 to £1081.50, extensive training, paid breaks and a food allowance, plus a range of benefits. DBS checks and references will be completed in line with government regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care that’s tailored to the customer and encourages their independence
• Assist with personal care like washing, dressing, toileting and mobility
• Manage their medication and prep their meals
• Take care of household tasks like laundry, cleaning, shopping and errands
• Support customers in staying connected to their community through social activities, hobbies, and visits from loved ones
• Offer comfort and care through illness, hospital visits, or end-of-life care
• Work independently while staying connected with our care team for support and guidance
• Paid breaks while on placement
• Full induction and expert training, with continued learning and development
• Ongoing supervision and 24/7 support from our dedicated team
