Job summary

Bluebird Care Winchester, Eastleigh and Romsey is seeking a Live-in Care Assistant to provide high-quality, person-centred care in customers' own homes across Hampshire, including Eastleigh and Romsey. The role involves living in the customer's home and promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.

You will work both independently and as part of a supportive team, delivering tailored care and building meaningful relationships with clients and their families.

Qualifications

• A kind, compassionate attitude and a calm approach to care.
• Aged 18+.
• Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• Right to Work in the UK ( sponsorship not available ).
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential - full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care that’s tailored to the customer and encourages their independence.
• Assist with personal care including washing, dressing, continence care and mobility.
• Support with medication and preparing meals.
• Take care of household tasks e.g. laundry, cleaning, shopping and errands.
• Work independently with support from our team for advice and guidance.
• Support customers to stay connected to their community through social activities, hobbies, and visits from loved ones.
