Job summary

Bluebird Care Winchester, Eastleigh and Romsey is seeking caring colleagues to deliver high-quality, person-centred care in customers’ homes across Winchester’s surrounding areas.

You’ll promote independence, dignity and wellbeing while working independently or with a supportive team. Training is provided, and you’ll join a team recognised for compassion and reliability.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Aged 18+.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Great communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
• Weekend availability (every other weekend or one day every weekend).
• No previous care experience required - training provided.
• Kind, compassionate attitude and a calm, understanding approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each customer’s needs.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Support nutrition and hydration, including meal planning and preparation.
• Help with medication and prescriptions.
• Carry out light housework (tidying, laundry, cleaning).
• Be a dependable, friendly face for customers.

About the Role
