Job summary

Bluebird Care Gravesham and Dartford is seeking a Live-in Care Expert to provide compassionate, personalized care in a customer's home. You will live with the customer, supporting daily tasks and personal needs to preserve dignity, independence and companionship.

You will work with a supportive care team, receive training and ongoing supervision, and enjoy flexible patterns. DBS checks are part of recruitment, and accommodation may be provided during placement.

Qualifications

• A kind and caring nature to support autonomy and dignity.
• Ability to live with customers for agreed shifts and follow care plans.
• Commitment to training, professionalism and confidentiality.
• Right to Work in the UK; previous care experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care tailored to the customer and promote independence.
• Assist with washing, dressing, toileting and mobility.
• Manage medication and prepare meals.
• Perform household tasks such as laundry, cleaning, shopping and errands.
• Support staying connected to community through activities and visits.
• Provide comfort during illness, hospital visits or end-of-life care.
• Work independently while staying connected with the care team.
