Job summary

TSL Lighting Ltd. is seeking a Warehouse Department Manager at its Basingstoke HQ to oversee inbound operations, inspect, test and process returned equipment, and lead a dedicated team driving efficient workflow.

The role covers supervising cable equipment, power and data cabling, and ensuring correct configuration, labeling and testing while maintaining stock records and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing or supervising a technical team within a warehouse or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of cabling systems used in live events, including power distribution and data cabling.
• Familiarity with industry standards for construction, labeling and safe rigging of cable assemblies.
• Experience with electrical safety procedures and PAT testing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct line management to warehouse staff within the cable department, managing workloads and training needs.
• Lead on-the-job training and support external training where appropriate.
• Oversee preparation, servicing, and maintenance of cable equipment and successful stock control.
