DAC Beachcroft in Newport (UK) is seeking an experienced Paralegal to support the Credit Hire and Repair team. The role covers litigated motor claims, liability and related losses, with potential remote working and monthly office attendance for training and events.

You will handle a varied caseload, maintain quality client service, and contribute to the team’s marketing and development efforts. A strong background in litigated credits and motor claims is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years+ experience handling litigated motor claims and managing your own caseload.
• Credit hire experience is essential for this position.
• Prioritisation and organisation skills to manage time and tasks.
• Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and colleagues.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Analytical ability to assess facts and legal arguments.
• IT literacy with Excel and Word.
• Commercial awareness to work within fee structures.
• Resilience in negotiations and learning attitude.
• Alignment with the Firm’s Cultural Principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide a timely, professional service to clients in litigated vehicle hire and damage cases.
• Manage a varied caseload with supervision as appropriate.
• Act as a primary contact for clients with knowledge and skill.
• Comply with internal and external service level agreements.
• Record timely and accurate management information.
• Meet individual performance measures.
• Support marketing and business development activities for the team.
