Keoghs is seeking a File Handler to join their Birmingham office, specializing in claims management within the counter-fraud team. As a File Handler, you will handle a diverse caseload of litigated RTA fraud cases, working closely with lead lawyers to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.

The ideal candidate will have experience in civil litigation claims handling, with strong advocacy and analytical skills. Benefits include private medical insurance, a pension scheme, and additional wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Experience as a legal File Handler or suitably qualified.
• Experience in handling RTA pre-litigated and/or litigated cases.
• Knowledge of the litigation process and working knowledge of CPRA.

Responsibilities

• Run fraud cases from litigation through to resolution.
• Review and analyse case evidence.
• Set case strategy with clients.

Skills

Experience in civil litigation claims handling

Understanding of insurance litigation practice

Good advocacy skills

High level of analytical skills

Excellent listening, verbal and written communication

Education

Qualified solicitor / Cilex with practice rights

Ilex, LPC qualification

Tools

Time recording and billing systems
