Job summary

Pin Point Recruitment is seeking a skilled Lithographic Printer to join our production team in Newcastle Upon Tyne. You will operate high-spec lithographic presses in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment, supporting continuous production with attention to finish and colour accuracy.

This permanent role offers a 34-hour week with a 6am–6pm shift pattern across two alternating weeks, plus holiday entitlement and a company pension.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Lithographic Printer.
• Understanding UV and conventional print processes.
• Colour management with a right-first-time mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate press from plate loading to registration.
• Maintain colour consistency and perform quality checks.
• Mix inks to specification and manage stock of paper, plates and consumables.
• Carry out routine cleaning, troubleshooting and maintenance.

We are seeking a skilled Lithographic Printer to join our production team, operating high-spec machinery in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment.

What you will be doing

• Press Operation: handling everything from plate loading to registration.
• Maintaining colour consistency and conducting quality checks.
• Mixing inks to spec and managing stock levels of paper, plates, and consumables to minimize waste.
• Keeping the wheels turning through routine cleaning, troubleshooting, and active participation maintenance.

What you will bring to the team

• Experience as a Lithographic Printer
• An understanding of both UV and conventional print processes.
• Colour management skills and a "right first time" attitude.
• The ability to troubleshoot mechanical or print issues.
• A flexible approach to shift work and a positive, team-focused work ethic.
