Pin Point Recruitment in Newcastle Upon Tyne is seeking a skilled Lithographic Printer to join our production team, operating high-spec machinery in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment.

The role is permanent, with shift patterns across weeks and a rate of £20.15 per hour for 34 hours per week, plus 170 hours holiday per year and a Peoples Pension with company contributions.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Lithographic Printer.
• Understanding of UV and conventional print processes.
• Colour management skills and a right-first-time attitude.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical or print issues.

Responsibilities

• Press operation from plate loading to registration.
• Maintain colour consistency and perform quality checks.
• Mix inks to spec and manage stock levels of paper, plates and consumables to minimize waste.
• Keep production running through routine cleaning, troubleshooting and maintenance participation.

Shift Pattern: Week 1 Monday to Wednesday 6am 6pm Week 2 Thursday to Saturday 6am 6pm Week 3 Monday to Wednesday 6pm to 6am

What you will be doing

• Press Operation: handling everything from plate loading to registration.
• Maintaining colour consistency and conducting quality checks.
• Mixing inks to spec and managing stock levels of paper, plates, and consumables to minimize waste.
• Keeping the wheels turning through routine cleaning, troubleshooting, and active participation maintenance.
