• Full UK driving license with no more than 6 points.
• Knowledge of utilities and traffic management (not essential).
• To be flexible in their working approach.
• To be able to cover long distances by foot.
• The desire to progress within the company.
• Confined spaces entry (Training will be provided).

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site activities, ensuring safety, efficiency and quality.
• Supervise operatives and subcontractors on site.
• Coordinate resources and maintain traffic management setups.
• Support patching and lining teams and participate in training.
• Perform risk assessments and update work packs.
• Be flexible for overtime and occasional weekend work.

We are delighted to announce a major new contract win with Welsh Water, supporting them over the next four years and beyond, delivering proactive and reactive maintenance of their Wastewater Network. We are now seeking an experienced Lining to oversee day-to-day site activities, ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. This role involves supervising operatives and subcontractors, coordinating resources and maintaining strong compliance, workmanship and operational performance on site., Sapphire Utility Solutions are seeking a Lining Engineer to join the team and to grown and progress their career in the utilities sector working for a growing company.

• Working on the back of cutting unit assisting and learning how to use and maintain the cutting unit
• Working with patching and lining teams to pick up various repair methods so they can move around the teams and eventually runs a van across all contracts (Training will be provided)
• Setting up traffic management (Training will be provided)
• Confined spaces entry (Training will be provided)
• Risk assessments and updating work packs
