Job summary

Brightstar, an award-winning hospitality management company, is seeking a hardworking Linen Porter to join our housekeeping team in Bath. You will be responsible for collecting, distributing, and replenishing linen, towels, and staff uniforms, ensuring supplies are available and linen storage is organized.

You should be physically fit, able to work independently or as part of a team, and flexible to weekend and holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
• Good physical fitness – this role involves lifting and moving linen.
• A positive, hardworking attitude with great attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Collect, distribute, and replenish clean linen, towels, and staff uniforms across the hotel.
• Ensure used linen is properly stored and ready for collection by the laundry service.
• Keep linen storerooms well-stocked, clean, and organized.
• Assist housekeeping staff by delivering extra supplies as required.
• Report any linen shortages, damages, or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
