Job summary

The Belfry Hotel & Resort is seeking a diligent Housekeeping team member to keep guest rooms and public spaces pristine. You will handle linen duties, assist guests with a friendly approach, and support daily operations across multiple areas of the resort.

This role suits someone with experience in physical environments who can work weekends and adapt to a fast-paced team. Training and career development are provided through onsite programs and partnerships to foster growth within the Belfry

Qualifications

• Background in a highly physical environment (e.g., hospitals, warehouses or stores) is preferred.
• Ability to maintain high standards of linen and public areas.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining quality standards of linen
• Ensuring all used linen has been collected
• Ensuring departments have the requested linen daily
• Check corridors and service rooms are clean and tidy
• Keep corridors free from linen and linen bags
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with guests
• Maintain equipment rooms to the required standard
• Refill room condiments and trolleys at day end
• Record linen in/out for rooms assigned
• Manage time effectively
• Oversee upkeep of public areas across the resort
• Attend housekeeping team meetings
• Weekend work may be required

About the role

This role is ideal for anyone with a background of working in a highly physical environment, e.g. Hospital Porter, Warehouse Operative, Manual Labourer, or a Stores Person / Stockroom Assistant. Duties of the job Include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining quality standards of linen
• Ensuring all used linen has been collected
• Ensuring all departments have the requested linen on a daily basis
• To check that the corridors and service rooms are clean and tidy
• Keep corridors free from linen, linen bags and linen skips
• Ensure fantastic customer service when in contact with guests around the resort
• Ensure the equipment rooms are at the standard set out by the House keeping management team
• Refill room condiments / room trollies at the end of the day
• Record linen in / out of the rooms allocated
• Be able to manage your time effectively
• Keep on top of the upkeep of the public areas throughout the Resort
• To keep on top of any administration relevant to the position and handed to the team leader on duty
• To attend all housekeeping team meetings
• You will be required to work weekends

Hours

The base annual rate for this role is £12.71 per annum, plus service charge.

We have both contracted and casual hours available.
