The Belfry Hotel & Resort in Sutton Coldfield, UK, is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping team member to help maintain pristine guest rooms and public areas, delivering five-star standards across our resort.

You'll work in a fast-paced environment, handle linen and cleanliness duties, and support guest satisfaction. The role involves weekend work, physical tasks, and contributes to our award-winning guest experience with generous Belfry benefits.

HOUSEKEEPING

Our Housekeeping team is at the heart of every guest’s experience at The Belfry. From pristine guest rooms to sparkling public areas, they ensure the resort always looks its best. With a keen eye for detail, professionalism, and pride in their work, the team creates a welcoming environment that leaves guests impressed and delighted. Joining Housekeeping means being part of a dedicated, fast-paced team where your efforts directly contribute to unforgettable stays and lasting memories.

The base annual rate for this role is £12.71 per annum, plus service charge.

About the role

This role is ideal for anyone with a background of working in a highly physical environment, e.g. Hospital Porter, Warehouse Operative, Manual Labourer, or a Stores Person / Stockroom Assistant. Duties of the job Include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining quality standards of linen
• Ensuring all used linen has been collected
• Ensuring all departments have the requested linen on a daily basis
• To check that the corridors and service rooms are clean and tidy
• Keep corridors free from linen, linen bags and linen skips
• Ensure fantastic customer service when in contact with guests around the resort
• Ensure the equipment rooms are at the standard set out by the House keeping management team
• Refill room condiments / room trollies at the end of the day
• Record linen in / out of the rooms allocated
• Be able to manage your time effectively
• Keep on top of the upkeep of the public areas throughout the Resort
• To keep on top of any administration relevant to the position and handed to the team leader on duty
• To attend all housekeeping team meetings
• You will be required to work weekends
