Job summary

The Belfry Hotel & Resort invites applications for a Housekeeping role. You will maintain linen quality, assist with daily linen distribution, and ensure guest areas are clean and presentable.

Ideal candidates will have experience in physical roles such as hospital porter or warehouse operative, be reliable, and able to work weekends. The package includes base salary plus gratuities, with benefits across wellbeing and discounts.

HOUSEKEEPING

The Housekeeping team ensuresevery guest has an exceptional experience by maintaining impeccable cleanlinessand presentation in guest rooms and public areas. With outstandingprofessionalism and attention to detail, they create a welcoming environment,leaving a lasting positive impression on resort visitors.

The on-target earning potentialfor this role is a £26,624.00 annual salary, comprising a base salary of £25,396.80supplemented by an estimated £1,227.20 in gratuities per annum, ensuring arewarding compensation package.

About the role

This role is ideal for anyonewith a background of working in a highly physical environment, e.g. HospitalPorter, Warehouse Operative, Manual Labourer, or a Stores Person / StockroomAssistant.Duties of the job Include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining quality standards oflinen
• Ensuring all used linen has beencollected
• Ensuring all departments havethe requested linen on a daily basis
• To check that the corridors andservice rooms are clean and tidy
• Keep corridors free from linen,linen bags and linen skips
• Ensure fantastic customerservice when in contact with guests around the resort
• Ensure the equipment rooms areat the standard set out by the House keeping management team
• Refill room condiments / roomtrollies at the end of the day
• Record linen in / out of therooms allocated
• Be able to manage your timeeffectively
• Keep on top of the upkeep of thepublic areas throughout the Resort
• To keep on top of anyadministration relevant to the position and handed to the team leader on duty
• To attend all housekeeping teammeetings
• You will be required to workweekends
