Job summary

Staffline is recruiting for a Line Leader to work in our citrus department at our Alconbury site. The role runs on a 4 on/4 off shift pattern from 07:00 to 19:30, with transport provided from Peterborough at four locations for £8 per day.

Starting pay is £12.71 per hour during training rising to £13.70 per hour after training; overtime is paid at £15.89 during training and £17.13 after training. You will lead Production and Machine Operatives, promote safety, monitor KPIs, and report to the Line

Qualifications

• Must have previous supervisory or team management experience.
• Experience in fresh produce or food production environments.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to stay calm and make quick decisions in a fast-paced setting.
• Willingness to learn about the production lifecycle.

Transport is provided from Peterborough at 4 different locations for £8 per day to take you there and back.

Pay Rate:

• £12.71 per hour (During training)
• £13.70 per hour (After training)

Overtime is paid after 48 hours:

• £15.89 per hour (During training)
• £17.13 per hour (After training)

This role is working 4 on and 4 off shifts.

The hours of work are 07:00-19:30

Your Time at Work

As a Line Leader, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and managing Production and Machine Operatives on the Citrus lines.
• Promoting best practices, ensuring safety procedures are followed, and working with Quality Control to maintain product freshness.
• Making decisions in a fast-paced environment, monitoring KPIs, and suggesting ways to improve efficiency.
• Creating a safe and supportive working environment, upholding the company culture, and motivating your team to succeed.
• Completing daily reports, reporting any breakdowns, and liaising with your Line Manager regarding any issues on the line.

Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided.
