Job summary

Nature’s Way Foods is seeking an experienced Line Leader for our Chichester facility. This hands-on supervisory role focuses on leading a team to deliver safe, high-quality products while meeting daily targets. We offer a £1,500 signing bonus after 12 weeks and a competitive salary for day or night shifts.

The role requires coordinating Production Operatives and agency staff, maintaining health and safety standards, and driving performance improvements in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

We’re looking for a confident and proactive Line Leader to join our fast-paced Production team. This is a hands‑on supervisory role with responsibility for leading your team to deliver safe, high-quality products whilst meeting daily performance targets. Day Shift Only – Fixed Days (7am-7pm)

You will work 7 days within a 14-day period. Typically:

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday

Nights Only – Fixed Nights (7pm-7am)

You will work 4 nights per week – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

What you’ll do:

• Lead and coordinate Production Operatives and agency colleagues, managing labour, materials and equipment effectively
• Maintain Health & Safety, food safety, GMP and customer standards, completing checks and compliance paperwork accurately
• Own line performance by monitoring KPIs and SIC, taking corrective action to reduce waste, giveaway and downtime
• Coach colleagues to achieve right-first-time quality, managing non-conformances and escalating major issues appropriately
• Deliver clear shift handovers, identify continuous improvement opportunities and lead by example

What we’re looking for from you:

• Previous experience within FMCG or food manufacturing
• Supervisory experience, proven machine operation experience and demonstrable leading capability
• Strong understanding of KPIs and production targets
• Confidence to coach, motivate, and manage performance
