About The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Line Leader to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to advance their career within a global business with a turnover of over £2 billion.

As a Line Leader, you will lead, manage, motivate, and organize the production line to ensure daily targets are met and customer orders are fulfilled to the highest quality standards.

Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Leading, motivating, and organizing a production line to meet efficiency, yield, and quality standards.
2. Ensuring compliance with company policies, food hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
3. Verifying that finished products meet customer specifications and are released accordingly.
4. Maintaining product quality as a shared responsibility.
5. Completing daily checks and documentation accurately and promptly, including start-up checks, handovers, and safety records.
6. Promoting a culture of health & safety and quality, maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
7. Providing clear communication and detailed handovers.
8. Optimizing resource use and adhering to company policies and procedures.
9. Deputizing for the Shift Operation Leader when necessary.
10. Following the 5S process and driving continuous improvement actions.
11. Monitoring and recording weights and ensuring conformity with procedures.
12. Coordinating with the packaging team to ensure labels and packaging are ready, avoiding downtime.
13. Verifying products against specifications, ensuring packaging and labels are correct.

• Experience in a fast-paced production environment, preferably within produce.
• Leadership experience with small teams.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in IT tools like Outlook and Excel.
• Practical skills with a quick and methodical work approach.
