Job description

Job Description

The role holder will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  1. Managing production lines and labour to meet planned volume and commercial targets, and in accordance with QA and safety standards.
  2. Effectively motivating a team of people to meet production targets.
  3. Ensuring the final product meets client specifications (SPI).
  4. Maximising production efficiency to ensure plans are met on an hourly/daily basis.
  5. Using the integrated management system (Vision) effectively.
  6. Adhering to and promoting best practices in accordance with company Health, Safety, and Quality regulations.
  7. Completing all paperwork and systems accurately and in accordance with company procedures.
  8. Ensuring all areas comply with hygienic audits, both internal and external.
  9. Strictly adhering to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and housekeeping (clean as you go).
  10. Liaising with agency controllers daily, providing feedback regarding agency workers.
  11. Attending team leader meetings.
  12. Assisting in the training and development of new starters.
  13. Acting as a role model for best practices.
  14. Monitoring, controlling, and minimising waste.
  15. Participating actively in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  16. Conducting RTW and disciplinary interviews as required.
  17. Participating in the company's appraisal system.
  18. Driving personal development through training and work-based experience.
  19. Undertaking other duties reasonably within the scope and grade of the post.
