Job summary

PDSL is seeking a Lighting Validation Engineer for a leading automotive client at Gaydon, Warwickshire. This full-time contract role offers flexible shifts to support evening and night-time vehicle testing.

You will validate interior and exterior lighting features, perform static and dynamic assessments including night driving, and contribute to fault identification, defect management, and certification documentation within Agile teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle validation, testing, or integration.
• Strong skills in complex test execution and fault diagnosis.
• Experience with lighting systems and electrical features.
• Familiarity with validation tools such as JIRA or XRAY.
• A full UK driving licence and advanced JLR road-driving approval.

Responsibilities

• Oversee validation of interior and exterior lighting features.
• Conduct static and dynamic assessments, including night-time road testing.
• Identify faults, manage defects, and prepare certification documentation.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to drive validation activities.
