Job summary

Affluent Technology Limited is seeking a Lighting Validation Engineer to support the development, integration, and validation of advanced vehicle lighting systems throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring delivery against performance, quality, cost, and regulatory targets.

The role involves end-to-end validation activities across exterior and interior lighting, collaboration with design, software, and manufacturing teams, and ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in automotive product development, validation, or testing.
• Knowledge of lighting technologies, CAN/LIN diagnostics, and failure investigation.
• Strong technical, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end product development of exterior and interior lighting systems
• Develop and execute validation plans, DVP&R, and system-level test activities
• Conduct vehicle, laboratory, and environmental testing
• Analyse test results and lead technical issue resolution using structured problem-solving methods
• Collaborate with design, software, systems, manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams
• Ensure compliance with customer, quality, and regulatory requirements
