Job summary

City Facilities Management is recruiting a Lighting Technician to join our Notts and Derby operations. The role covers Notts & Derby with a permanent, full-time commitment and a 45-hour week.

You will manage the PPM schedule, respond to Helpdesk requests, prioritise tasks and order spares to defined procedures. Applicants must hold a recognised electrical qualification, be qualified to 18th Edition, and comply with Lighting Health & Safety training.

• Health & Safety for working on Filling Station lighting (City-delivered course)

Responsibilities

• To complete the PPM schedule within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures.
• To respond promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as and where necessary.
• To prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times.
• To order spares to the laid-down procedures.

Salary: £37,129.95 Total Salary , Overtime potential, Travel Time, 33 Days Holiday (Inclusive of Bank Holidays), Private Pension & Benefits - Including Private Health Care, Life Insurance, Employee Discounts.

• Degree of flexibility required. Will be required to stay away from home occasionally.
• Willingness to work flexible hours. Night shift may be required
