Job summary
Bertrandt Group is seeking a Lighting Measurement Technician to join our automotive lighting development team in Crewe. You will conduct illumination testing across exterior and interior components, handle sample preparation and CAN simulations, and deliver thorough test reports.
Your role requires hands-on experience with luminance measurements, ProMetric, and related instrument systems, along with data analysis and calibration of test equipment.
Qualifications
- Experience with luminance measurements and ProMetric knowledge.
- Experience with spectrometry/colour measurement and CAS 140 with Top200 & Irradiance sensors.
- Experience with luminous intensity measurement and AMS5000 Goniometer and LumiSuite/SpecWin.
- Familiarity with Luxmeter for illuminance measurements.
- Proficiency with Vector CANoe for vehicle electronics testing.
Responsibilities
- Measure and evaluate illumination of exterior and interior components.
- Plan and administer measurement samples and CAN simulations.
- Prepare samples and connect wiring for measurements.
- Conduct lighting measurements: brightness, homogeneity, color, and reflectivity.
- Analyze data, compile test reports, and present results.
- Calibrate measuring instruments according to lighting standards.
- Organize calibration of measuring instruments as needed.
