Job summary

Ovia is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join the Technical & Quality team in Tamworth. You will act as a trusted technical expert across the product portfolio, troubleshooting issues and supporting product performance while collaborating with Product Development, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.

You will respond to enquiries, interpret drawings and installation docs, and provide guidance to customers and internal teams to improve quality and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of LED lighting products, luminaires and controls.
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to communicate technical information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Customer-focused with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-class technical support for Ovia luminaires, lighting controls and associated products.
• Respond to technical inquiries via phone, email, or site visits as required.
• Diagnose and resolve product, installation and performance issues.
• Guide customers through troubleshooting to achieve timely resolutions.
• Deliver technical advice to internal sales teams and external customers.
