The role offers a daytime pattern with £19.23 per hour, Monday–Friday 7:30am–3:30pm and alternate Saturdays 8:00am–1:00pm, full-time and permanent. A supportive team and quality workmanship are emphasised.

Qualifications

• Experience as an LCV/van/vehicle technician.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Experience on Light Commercial Vehicles.
• Good understanding of modern vehicle systems.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

The Role

As an LCV Technician / LCV Mechanic, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a range of Light Commercial Vehicles, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
• Completing repairs efficiently and accurately
• Carrying out vehicle inspections and health checks
• Identifying additional repairs and reporting findings
• Using appropriate diagnostic equipment
• Carrying out road tests where required
• Completing workshop documentation accurately

About You

The ideal LCV Technician / LCV Mechanic will have:

• Previous experience working as an LCV Technician, Van Technician or Vehicle Technician
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Experience working on Light Commercial Vehicles
• Good understanding of modern vehicle systems
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional and reliable approach
• Full UK driving licence
