Job summary

ASCO - Workforce Solutions in Aberdeen seeks an experienced Instructor/Lifting Consultant to deliver high quality training and provide technical support to clients both at our training centre and on customer sites. The role combines instruction with technical guidance, equipment management and continuous improvement to maintain safety and compliance.

The successful candidate will have extensive lifting industry experience, offshore certifications (OPITO BOSIET/HUET/FOET and Offshore Medical),

Qualifications

• Experience delivering accredited and in-house training across training centres and client sites.
• Strong technical knowledge of lifting operations, cranes, heavy lift, and energy sector needs.
• Ability to generate technical reports and support accreditation activities.
• Proven capability to mentor colleagues and develop training materials.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accredited and in-house training courses at training centres and client sites.
• Conduct technical reviews and audits of client systems, processes, equipment and personnel.
• Provide technical reports to clients and management.
• Deliver competency assurance and development internally and to clients.
• Develop, review and prepare technical documentation and training materials.
• Maintain plant, equipment and materials used in the training centre.
• Support client and company activities as a technical/operational function.
• Promote industry best practice and mentor less experienced colleagues.
• Create and develop client and inter-company process and documentation.
• Deliver training material development and updates.
• Support accreditation activities and NSL product packaging projects.
