Job summary

Gap Group Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a Hire & Sales Coordinator for our fast-growing Lifting division. You’ll be the first point of contact, handling hire requests, coordinating logistics, and delivering outstanding customer service in a busy depot environment.

You will manage hires across a wide range of lifting equipment, liaise with drivers and fitters, drive sales opportunities, and support a team that values initiative and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume hire desk or similar fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commercial edge.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with great attention to detail.
• Confident IT skills, including Outlook and Excel.
• A team player who can also work independently and use their initiative.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming and outgoing hires per day across a wide range of lifting equipment.
• Process hire desk administration and handle customer and supplier queries quickly.
• Ensure stock levels meet demand and identify sales opportunities.
• Coordinate with drivers and fitters to ensure timely deliveries and collections.
• Resolve issues to keep operations running smoothly.
