Job summary

Speedy Services is hiring a Lifting Equipment Engineer in Tamworth. You will work Monday to Friday, 40 hours, testing, maintaining and repairing lifting hire equipment in our depot workshop and may visit customer sites on long‑term contracts.

You’ll contribute to a safe, high‑quality service, work solo or in a team, and support the ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver. The role offers development opportunities, plus a range of employee benefits.

Qualifications

Valid driving licence required.
Excellent knowledge of hydraulics and mechanical equipment.
Commitment to high health and safety standards in the workplace.
Able to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong work ethic and adaptable to changing tasks.
Ability to think on your feet and respond quickly.

Responsibilities

Test, maintain and repair lifting hire equipment in the workshop.
Attend customer sites to undertake breakdowns and servicing on long‑term contracts.
Ensure the customer journey remains at the heart of service delivery.
Contribute to a culture of safety and quality in every task.
