Job summary

Speedy Hire in Tamworth is seeking a Lifting Equipment Engineer to test, maintain and repair lifting hire gear from a depot workshop. You may also visit customer sites to service equipment under long-term contracts, contributing to a strong customer journey and reliable service.

The role is based on a Monday to Friday pattern, 40 hours, with opportunities for training and career progression within Speedy Hire.

Qualifications

• Valid Driving Licence.
• Excellent knowledge of hydraulics and mechanical equipment.
• Commitment to health and safety in the workplace.
• Ability to work on your own or in a team.
• Strong work ethic and a proactive approach.
• Willingness to support ESG initiatives and Decade to Deliver.

Responsibilities

• Test, maintain and repair lifting hire equipment in the workshop.
• Attend customer sites to undertake breakdowns and servicing for long-term contracts.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure timely, safe and high-quality service.
