Job summary

OTIS LIMITED is hiring a Lift Tester to support the North West & Central team. The ideal candidate will be NVQ4 qualified and experienced in testing and commissioning new installations and modernisation projects.

Primary duties include ensuring passenger safety while maintaining elevator and escalator units. Location options include Manchester or Liverpool; a valid UK driving licence and strong electrical engineering skills are essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ 4 or equivalent qualification.
• Experience testing and commissioning new installations and modernisation projects.
• Hold a valid driving licence.
• Strong skills in electricity and electrical engineering.
• Committed to safety as a priority.
• Good communication skills.
• Curious and adaptable; able to work alone or in a team.
• Comfortable using electronic and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert for lift problems and troubleshooting.
• Work with other branches to provide and support with diagnosis of highly complex issues.
• Provide coaching and development to others around technical issues.
