Job summary
Marmon Lift Recruitment Ltd is seeking experienced Lift Testers to join a leading lift and escalator company. You will test and commission lifts following modernisation and new installations, ensuring units are safe to enter service and compliant with regulations.
The role covers travel across the North West and Midlands with occasional longer trips. NVQ Level 4 in Lift Testing and Commissioning is essential, along with strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills and full UK driving
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 4 in Lift Testing and Commissioning is essential.
- Strong experience testing and commissioning passenger and goods lifts.
- Experience with modernisation and new installation projects.
- Advanced electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
- Solid knowledge of lift regulations and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Test and commission newly installed and modernised lift equipment.
- Ensure lifts are safe to enter service and compliant.
- Carry out electrical, mechanical and functional testing.
- Identify defects and remedial works.
- Liaise with project teams to resolve issues.
- Complete testing documentation and handover reports.
- Work across various lift manufacturers and control systems.
- Travel to project sites across the North West and Midlands.
