Job summary

Otis Limited is seeking a Lift Tester to support the North West & Central team. The candidate should be NVQ4 qualified and experienced in testing and commissioning new installations and modernisation projects.

A valid driving license and strong electrical skills are essential to ensure safe operation and compliance with safety standards. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and coaching others, with opportunities to work across branches and contribute to a world-leading elevator and escalator

Qualifications

• NVQ 4 (or equivalent) is required.
• Experience in test and commissioning of new installations and modernisation projects.
• Valid driver's license.
• Good skills in electricity and electrical engineering.
• Safety must be a priority.
• Able to communicate effectively with others.
• Comfortable working solo or in a team.
• Familiar with electronic/digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert for lift problems and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with other branches to diagnose complex issues.
• Provide coaching to colleagues on technical issues.
