Job summary

Otis London is seeking an NVQ Level 4 qualified Tester/Technician to join the Major Projects New Equipment Installation Team. You will test and commission complex lift and escalator projects, mentor field engineers, and ensure safe, compliant handovers to service teams.

You will oversee on-site testing across projects, liaise with clients, and contribute to bids on technical requirements while maintaining high quality readings during project completion.

Qualifications

• Experience in Lift/Escalator industry testing.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering principles.
• IT literate with MS Excel and MS Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Test and commission complex multi-unit sites with interfaces like EMS/Compass.
• Lead and coordinate other test engineers on multi-unit sites.
• Audit testing and EN81 handover paperwork; support on-site during QA period.
