Job summary

OTIS LIMITED is hiring a Lift Tester to support the North West & Central team. The ideal candidate will be NVQ4 qualified and experienced in testing and commissioning new installations and modernisation projects.

Primary duties include ensuring passenger safety while maintaining elevator and escalator units. Location options include Manchester or Liverpool; a valid UK driving licence and strong electrical engineering skills are essential.

The ideal candidate will be located in Manchester or Liverpoo, be NVQ4 qualified l and have experience with the t est and commission of new installations and Modernisation projects. Your priority is to ensure the safety of passengers and technical stakeholders by safely maintaining a portfolio of elevator and escalator units.

Typical Day

• Act as a subject matter expert for all things around lift problems and troubleshooting.
• Work with other branches to provide and support with diagnosis of highly complex issues.
• Provide coaching and development to others around technical issues.

Requirements

• Be qualified to NVQ 4 or equivalent
• Experience t est and commission of new installations and Modernisation projects
• Hold a drivers license
• You have good skills in electricity and electrical engineering
• You are a committed professional, with safety as your priority
• You are comfortable communicating to others
• You are curious, adaptable, and you know how to work alone or in a team
• You are comfortable using electronic and digital tools.
