Job summary

Otis Worldwide Corporation in London is looking for a Lift Tester to join our Modernisation team. You will test, fault find and commission elevator and escalator units on diverse sites, ensuring safety and quality on every installation.

The role requires on-site work, strong electrical and mechanical skills, and the ability to read plans. You will stay away overnight as needed, liaise with customers to build strong relationships, receive intensive training on leading technology, and be supported

Qualifications

• Qualified tester with knowledge of elevator equipment.
• Experience testing, fault finding and wiring of third‑party elevator gear.
• Valid driver's license.
• 6+ months field experience on elevators, installations or on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Test, troubleshoot and resolve elevator issues safely and efficiently.
• Inspect on-site before and after installation to ensure safety and quality.
• Liaise with customers on site to build good working relationships.
• Be prepared to overnight away from home when required.
