Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in engineering design, technical calculations and problem solving within a technical engineering environment.
• Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Designing standard and bespoke lift solutions to meet requirements.
• Producing engineering calculations, design specifications and technical documentation.
• Creating and reviewing layout drawings using CAD/AutoCAD.
• Managing application engineering activities to relevant standards and Schindler guidelines.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver quality solutions within timescales and budgets.
• Providing technical support to colleagues, customers and project teams.
• Configuring lift systems and generating bills of materials for manufacturing and installation.
• Reviewing requirements to identify risks or gaps before project release.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
