Job summary

Stannah Group in Salisbury is seeking a Lift Repair Engineer to cover Salisbury and surrounding areas, performing repairs, fault finding, and lift maintenance.

You will manage a local patch with a mix of commercial, residential, and public sites, tackling breakdowns and component wear. A full UK driving licence is required, NVQ3 in Lift Engineering, and prior lift engineering experience is expected.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Experience in lift service/repair is essential.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out repairs and fault finding on lifts.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues.
• Replacing and upgrading components.
• Attending breakdowns and supporting call-outs.
• Getting lifts back into service safely and efficiently.
• Completing site paperwork and keeping records up to date.

Lift Repair Engineer Job in Salisbury at Stannah - Join Our Team! Stannah | Full-Time | Permanent

Salary: Up to £53,000 (including OTE) based on skills and experience level. Overtime, call-out, and standby are also provided.

Hours: Monday-Thursday: 08:00 - 16:45; Friday: 08:00 - 15:45 (early finish)

We're looking for a Lift Repair Engineer to cover Salisbury and surrounding areas. This is a hands‑on role focused on repairs, fault finding, and keeping lifts running reliably. You'll be working across a local patch, dealing with breakdowns, worn components, and more complex faults. You will manage your own work day‑to‑day, with support from a local supervisor when needed.

• Covering Salisbury and nearby areas


• Local, structured patch


• Mix of commercial, residential, and public sites


• No unnecessary long‑distance travel

Lift Repair Engineer Responsibilities

• Carrying out repairs and fault finding on lifts
