Job summary

Stannah is seeking a Lift Repair Engineer to cover Chichester and surrounding areas. The role involves hands-on repairs, fault finding and keeping lifts running smoothly across a local patch with support from a supervisor when needed.

You will diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, replace components and attend breakdowns, ensuring safe, efficient return to service while maintaining site records and paperwork.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience working as a lift engineer (service/repair).
• Full UK driving licence.

Job description

We're looking for a Lift Repair Engineer to covers Chichester and surrounding areas. This is a hands-on role focused on repairs, fault finding, and keeping lifts running reliably. You'll be working across a local patch, dealing with breakdowns, worn components, and more complex faults. You'll manage your own work day-to-day, with support from a local supervisor when needed.

Patch:

• Covering Chichester and nearby areas
• Local, structured patch
• Mix of commercial, residential and public sites
• No unnecessary long-distance travel
