Job summary

Stannah, Reading-based Lift Repair Engineer role, is seeking an experienced technician to service and repair lifts across Reading and surrounding areas. You will diagnose faults, perform electrical and mechanical repairs, and ensure lifts run reliably with high safety standards.

You will manage daily workload with local supervision support, attend breakdowns, replace components, and complete site paperwork.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent)
• Experience as a lift engineer (service/repair)
• Full UK driving licence

Lift Repair Engineer Job in Reading at Stannah - Join Our Team!

Salary Up to £56,000 (incl OTE) based on skills and experience level.

We’re looking for a Lift Repair Engineer to covers Reading and surrounding areas.

This is a hands-on role focused on repairs, fault finding, and keeping lifts running reliably. You’ll be working across a local patch, dealing with breakdowns, worn components, and more complex faults.

You’ll manage your own work day-to-day, with support from a local supervisor when needed.

Your Patch:

• Covering Reading and nearby areas
• Local, structured patch
• Mix of commercial, residential and public sites
• No unnecessary long-distance travel

Lift Repair EngineerResponsibility:
