Job summary

Stannah, a family-owned engineering company, is seeking a Lift Service Engineer to cover a route across Bury St Edmunds and surrounding areas. You’ll service lifts, fault find, and keep things running safely day-to-day, with support from a local team when needed.

Your patch focuses on Bury St Edmunds, with a structured route and a mix of commercial, residential and public sites. NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent) and a Full UK driving licence are required, along with experience in

Salary Up to £53,000 (incl OTE) based on skills and experience level.

We’re looking for aLift Service Engineerto cover a route across Bury St Edmundsand surrounding areas.

You’ll be looking after your own patch — servicing lifts, fault finding, and keeping things running safely day-to-day, with support from a local team when you need it.

Your Patch:

• Covering Bury St Edmundsand nearby areas
• Structured route (no random national travel)
• Mix of commercial, residential and public sites
• Mostly staying within your allocated area
• Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance
• Attending breakdowns and callouts
• Fault finding and getting lifts back up and running
• Keeping sites safe and compliant
• Completing site logs and basic paperwork
• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent)
• Experience working as a lift engineer (service/repair)
• Full UK driving licence
