Job summary

Stannah Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a skilled Lift Repair Engineer to cover Luton and surrounding areas. This hands-on role focuses on repairs, fault finding and keeping lifts running reliably across a local patch, with support from a supervisor when needed.

You will diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, replace components and attend breakdowns, ensuring safety and compliance while completing site paperwork and maintaining up-to-date records.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience working as a lift engineer (service/repair).
• Full UK driving licence.

Lift Repair Engineer Job in Luton at Stannah - Join Our Team!

Stannah | Full-Time | Permanent

Salary Up to £56,000 (incl OTE) based on skills and experience level.

Hours:

Monday–Thursday: 08:00 – 16:45

Friday: 08:00 – 15:45 (early finish)

We’re looking for a Lift Repair Engineer to covers Luton and surrounding areas.

This is a hands‑on role focused on repairs, fault finding, and keeping lifts running reliably. You’ll be working across a local patch, dealing with breakdowns, worn components, and more complex faults.

You’ll manage your own work day‑to‑day, with support from a local supervisor when needed.

Your Patch:

• Covering Luton and nearby areas
• Local, structured patch
• Mix of commercial, residential and public sites
• No unnecessary long-distance travel

Lift Repair Engineer Responsibility:

• Carrying out repairs and fault finding on lifts
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues
• Replacing and upgrading components
• Attending breakdowns and supporting call‑outs
• Getting lifts back into service safely and efficiently
• Completing site paperwork and keeping records up to date
