Job summary

Stannah Group is seeking a Lift Repair Engineer to cover Chichester and surrounding areas. This hands-on position focuses on repairs, fault finding, and keeping lifts running reliably, with a mix of commercial, residential and public sites.

You will manage your own day-to-day work with local supervisory support as needed. The role includes a market-aligned salary up to £53,000 (incl OTE), a company van, pension, and bonus schemes.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience working as a lift engineer (service/repair).
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out repairs and fault finding on lifts.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues.
• Replacing and upgrading components.
• Attending breakdowns and supporting call-outs.
• Getting lifts back into service safely and efficiently.
• Completing site paperwork and keeping records up to date.
