Job summary

Midland Lift Services Limited is seeking a Lift Modernisation and Installation Engineer to lead planned modernisation and new installation projects with a focus on precision upgrades and adherence to specifications. The role involves managing installation of lift systems, equipment changes, and coordinating with site teams to meet schedules and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering, strong drawing interpretation skills, and a proven track record across

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent.
Experience with lift installation and modernisation.
Ability to read drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of British Standards and safety rules.

Responsibilities

Execute new lift installations and modernisation projects according to technical specifications and drawings.
Lead the systematic removal and installation of lift equipment including controllers, machines, ropes, doors, and car components.
Coordinate with project managers and site teams to ensure efficient installation schedules.
Interpret and implement consultant specifications and technical requirements.
Ensure all installations meet current safety regulations and industry standards.
Maintain detailed documentation of installation progress, technical changes, and quality checks.
Liaise professionally with clients, consultants, and contractors throughout projects.
