Job summary

Professional Technical Ltd in the Midlands is seeking an experienced Project Supervisor to support their Major Projects division. You will supervise major repair and modernisation projects, coordinate engineers and subcontractors on site, and ensure safe, on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires a lift engineering background with supervisory experience, NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Background in lift engineering with supervisory exposure.
• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering is essential.
• NVQ/QCF Level 4 is desirable for progression.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership within the lift industry.
• Strong technical knowledge across lift products.
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to motivate and develop engineers.

Responsibilities

• Supervising major repair and modernisation projects from planning through to completion.
• Coordinating engineers and subcontractors on site.
• Monitoring progress to ensure works are safe, on time and within budget.
• Providing technical support and guidance to engineering teams.
• Liaising with customers, site contacts and internal departments.
• Managing project materials, logistics and site administration.
• Ensuring Health & Safety procedures are adhered to at all times.
• Reporting updates and performance to senior management.
