Otis, a global leader in elevator systems, is seeking a Lift Repair Engineer to service units in Reading or Slough. The role covers preventative maintenance and responsive repairs, delivering first-time fixes where possible.

You will work in a defined UK territory, hold NVQ3 in lifts, a valid driver’s license, and demonstrate strong electrical skills. Otis supports training, equipment, and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• NVQ3 in lifts maintenance mechanics is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Strong electrical/electronic skills are required.
• Safety-focused professional with priority on safe operations.
• Good communication; able to work solo or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 100% of the elevator maintenance and service visits in your territory.
• Manage the portfolio of elevators within your defined geographical area.
• Respond quickly to fix breakdowns and achieve first-time fix where possible.
• Carry out minor repairs to ensure continual operation.
• Liaise with the customer on-site to build a good working relationship.
